Napoli manager Rafa Benitez has refused to commit his future to the Serie A club recently, amid speculation he could be in line for a return to English football.
The former Liverpool and Chelsea manager is out of contract in the summer, and with no talks of a renewal on the horizon is set to leave the Italian giants.
“I do not know when my farewell will arrive, it could be between three to five years, or even just one. Regardless, I will certainly always give 100 per cent for this team until the last day. Everyone knows that my contract expires in June, shortly we’ll talk but now it is more important to talk about the team, my personal issues do not count.” – Benitez said in a recent press conference.
Benitez has recently been linked to potential vacancies at Newcastle and West Ham, should he favour a move back to the Premier League.
It’s looking increasingly more likely that Sam Allardyce will be let go at the end of the season, and Benitez is one of the names linked to take over at Upton Park.
