West Ham United take on Leeds United this afternoon for a place in the FA Cup semi finals. Nuno Espirito Santo’s team are determined to get back to winning ways but are likely to be without star winger, Crysencio Summerville, once again.
The Dutchman has been side-lined since the Hammers victory over Brentford in the last round of the competition. The 24-year-old suffered a calf injury in the game and has been on the road to recovery ever since, taking the full international break to return to training.

Speaking pre-match, Nuno stated that a decision had not been made on Summerville’s availability, with the player improving day-by-day.
Summerville is not expected to feature for West Ham today, with the club unlikely to risk the player, limiting him to bench role at most should he feel good enough to be involved.
Further team news
Jean-Clair Todibo is another player that could miss out on this game. The French defender pulled out of the Hammers game with Aston Villa after pulling up in the warmup.
Todibo is said to have recovered well but lands in the same category as Summerville, with the club making a late decision on whether or not to risk the 26-year-old.
Elsewhere, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is not expected to start after he picked up a knock with DR Congo. The fullback helped his nation qualify for this summer’s World Cup but in doing so suffered a small blow. It is said to not be serious but the club are managing him day-by-day.
Konstantinos Mavropanos is good to go after suffering a blow to the head with Greece last week. The central defender was not risked in the nations second game of the break but the 28-year-old is now fully cleared and ready to play.
El Hadji Malick Diouf is another that returned late after featuring for his nation this week. Despite this, like Mavropanos, Diouf is fit and ready to feature for West Ham today.
