- West Ham take on Leeds United in the FA Cup on Sunday at 4:30PM BST
- The winner will go into the semi finals at Wembley
- Both teams are in relegation trouble in the Premier League this season
West Ham United return to action this week as they host Leeds United in the FA Cup quarter finals. Both the Hammers and Leeds have staying in the Premier League on their minds but will know this game is great opportunity to not only book a trip to Wembley, but regain some momentum.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s team dropped to one point from safety after a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa before the international break. In the end the break came at the right time for West Ham, with both Jean-Clair Todibo and Crysencio Summerville being out injured. Both players have a chance of being available on Sunday.
The Hammers have won just won of their last five games but have only lost two, form that is matched by their opponents, Leeds United. Daniel Farke’s team have struggled recently after having a strong-mid-season.
The West Yorkshire outfit booked their place in this game with a win over Norwich City. Farke’s team are only three points above the Premier League drop zone and will be hoping a win here can translate to points in the league next week.

Prediction
Here, a handful of our writer’s give their prediction for the game…
Matt Bottomley
“West Ham looked of the pace against Aston Villa with pre-match circumstances not helping. Nuno’s team have used the FA Cup well since January and will look to do so again before a pivotal run of games in the Premier League.
“Leeds United are no slouch but have not looked themselves over the last month or so. In both their games with Crystal Palace and Brentford before the break, they should have won and will look to take that into this game. Leeds won’t come to London to sit back, wanting to end their capital woes and get back moving.
“This one should be a tight affair and is a game I see going the distance again, with the home side winning the lottery.”
Prediction: West Ham 1-1 Leeds United (West Ham win on penalties)
