West Ham teenager Bailey Pammenter scored for the second successive game as Czechia U18s beat Greece 3-1 to win the Václav Ježek Tournament.
The 16-year-old came on at half-time on Saturday with his side trailing and equalised in the 49th minute.
West Ham’s official international round-up confirms that Pammenter reacted to a parried shot to bring Czechia level, setting up a comeback that ended with two stoppage-time goals.
Bailey Pammenter makes another impact from the bench
Tomáš Volf and Lewis Azaka completed the turnaround, securing first place in the four-team tournament.
Sofascore’s match record places their goals in the third and fourth minutes of added time.
Pammenter had also scored after coming off the bench in Wednesday’s 3-2 victory over Slovakia. That was his first international goal, following a start in the opening 1-1 draw with Switzerland.
He therefore finished the tournament with goals in both of Czechia’s victories, making a tangible contribution to their success.
For West Ham, it is an encouraging academy development, with Pammenter taking his opportunities against international opposition.
Elsewhere, Ezra Mayers and Airidas Golambeckis remained unused substitutes in England U20s’ 2-1 victory over Germany, according to the FA’s match report.
