West Ham have reportedly made a bid to sign Besiktas winger Gokhan Tore.
The former Chelsea academy star left the club in 2011 to join Hamburg, but after short stints in Germany and in Russia with Rubin Kazan, Tore signed for Besiktas on loan in 2013. Tore signed on a five-year deal last summer for a reported €4.5m.
Slaven Bilic helped Tore rediscover his best form during his time in Turkey as Besiktas manager. the Turk operated mainly from the right wing.
Capped 22 times at international level, the 23-year-old has been linked with reuniting with Bilic at West Ham since the Croat took over as Hammers manager last week.
Tore made 43 appearances for Besiktas last season, and scored nine goals and is widely considered as one of the league’s most creative attackers.
West Ham, lacking creativity in the attacking third, as hoping to conclude a deal for Tore having missed out on re-signing Demba Ba.
West Ham have also registered their interest in signing AS Monaco forward Lucas Ocampos on loan, as well as leading the chase to sign QPR striker Charlie Austin.
