Perotti Holding Out For Hammers Move

West Ham have been boosted in their efforts to sign Genoa winger Diego Perotti this month, as he reportedly is holding out for a move to East London.

The 26-year-old was subject to a bid from West Ham earlier this week, which was reportedly turned down by the Serie A club, who are looking for a larger fee.

Premier League new boys Watford are also keen on the Argentine international winger, who scored five goals and recorded four assists last season, with it claimed that they’d lodged a club record £7m bid for the player.

It remains to be seen whether the Hammers will now better that offer, or look at other targets.

Slaven Bilic is said to be considering a loan move for another Argentine winger, AS Monaco’s Lucas Ocampos, as the 20-year-old looks set to depart on another years loan.

Marseille’s Dimitri Payet is also said to be edging closer to a move to the Premier League and West Ham. A contract still needs to be agreed as a deal in excess of £10m is said to be on the table from West Ham.
