Hammers Turn Down Redknapp

West Ham REJECTED the chance to re-appoint Harry Redknapp as manager after he put himself forward a fortnight ago, reports the Mirror.

It’s claimed that the two parties held talks two weeks ago about the possibility of bringing in the 68-year-old as manager.

Redknapp quit on QPR earlier last season due to health concerns, but is now eager to step back out onto the touchline.

West Ham have decided against appointing Redknapp, as they have scheduled their unveiling for their new manager tomorrow.

Slaven Bilic looks set for the role, while Marcelo Bielsa remains in the frame.
