Palace Rival Hammers For N’Doye

Crystal Palace are rivalling West Ham for the signing of Hull City striker Dame N’Doye, according to the Mirror.

Both the Hammers and Palace have identified the Senegalese international forward as a contingency plan for if they fail to sign QPR striker Charlie Austin this summer, who is available for £15m, but neither club are willing to meet the lofty asking price.

West Brom and Norwich are both also said to be interested in the 30-year-old, who has an agreement with Hull that they’ll allow him to leave if an offer comes in. However, N’Doye’s wage demands are said to be putting teams off a move for him.

West Ham have tried and failed to sign N’Doye many times in the past, but have a couple of things in their favour this time, including Premier League and Europa League football.

Slaven Bilic managed N’Doye at Lokomotiv Moscow, and is said to be a fan of the player, who scored five goals in 15 games following his January move to Hull, which saw them relegated from the Premier League.
