Hammers Move For Bardi

West Ham and Schalke are considering a move for highly-rated Inter Milan goalkeeper Francesco Bardi, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian U21 international is currently away with the national side at the U21 European Championships.

The 23-year-old is a product of the youth system at Livorno before signing for Inter Milan in 2011.

He’s spent every season since out on loan, including stints back at Livorno, but spent last season at Chievo.

He’s made 34 appearances at U21 level for Italy, and is tipped to be the long-term successor of Gigi Buffon.

Bundesliga side Schalke are also interested in the shot-stopper.
