Liverpool will make a take-it-or-leave-it £6.5m offer for West Ham defender Winston Reid before the January window closes on Monday according to the Mirror.
It’s well reported that Reid is a free agent in the summer, and no progressions on contract renewal talks has led to speculation that the Hammers will look to cash-in on Reid this month, although the club are adamant that’s not the case.
Reid is undecided on his future as we speak, and is non-committal to his long-term future, but still could sign a new contract before the summer as talks are ongoing.
Should Liverpool get a deal done for the New Zealander, the Hammers will look towards signing former Tottenham defender Vedran Corluka.
The 28-year-old, currently plying his trade in Russia with Lokomotiv Moscow, can play both centre and right back, and is available for £4.5m. Hull, West Brom and Everton are also monitoring his situation however.
