Hammers Chasing Dragovic

West Ham are trying to negotiate a deal to sign highly-rated Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksander Dragovic, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Hammers appear to be desperate to sign a top centre-back this summer, having being linked with a move Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna, who was set to sign for the club, but have now pulled out of a deal for the Everton target.

They also were hoping to secure a €20m deal for Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour, but his agent says the door to West Ham ‘is now closed’.

The report claims that West Ham have opened negotiations with the Ukrainian club for the Austrian centre-back, who is also a target for Champions League sides Arsenal and Manchester United.

The 24-year-old is our ‘top [defender] target’ this summer, and the club are determined to complete a deal for the player in the coming days.
