Hammers Interested In Alfonso Pedroza

West Ham are one of several clubs being linked with a move to sign highly-rated Villarreal prodigy Alfonso Pedroza, according to reports.

The talented teenage winger broke into the first-team at the El Madrigal this past season in La Liga, and his agent has recently stated that his client has strong interest from the Premier League, and will likely be playing in English football for the 2015/16 season.

“All I can say is that, yes, there are a number of clubs in England looking at him.

“I can’t name clubs but at this moment it would appear there is a strong chance he will be at a Premier League club next season.” said his English agent Gregg Houghton to HITC Sport.

Known in football as just ‘Alfonso’, the tricky winger was also called up to the Spanish U19 international squad earlier this year. He has two year left on his contract in Spain, but reportedly has a ‘minimal’ release clause in that deal, as all players in Spain are bound to having a contractual release clause.

Newcastle, Everton and Aston Villa will all rival the Hammers for his services, as the player looks to be one of the rising stars in European football.
