Morrison To Quit Lazio

Former West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison is set to quit Lazio before even playing a game for the club, says the Mirror.

The England U21 international was released by the club in January after he agreed a pre-contract deal with the Serie A club, but wants to return to England due to homesickness.

The player didn’t get along with Sam Allardyce, but David Gold & David Sullivan always believed in the player, and were reluctant to see him go.

Lazio invited Morrison to train with the club earlier in the season to maintain fitness, but it seems Italy doesn’t suit him.

It was rumoured last week that West Ham were interested in bringing Morrison back to the club now Allardyce had left, and that isn’t impossible.

Morrison spent time on loan at QPR during his time with West Ham, and it’s claimed that the Championship side want to give him a lifeline in English football.
