Irons Return For Yilmaz

West Ham are ready to rekindle their interest in prolific Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz, reports suggest.

Claims from talkSPORT say that new manager Slaven Bilic wants to make a move for the 29-year-old having watched him fire in goals in Turkey during his two years as Besiktas manager.

However, they face competition from Arsenal and Chelsea for the Turkey international striker, as well as Lazio, who have lined up a £7.5m bid for the player.

Yilmaz has been deadly since his move from Trabzonspor three years ago, scoring 56 goals in 90 league games for Galatasaray.

West Ham made an approach to sign Yilmaz before he joined Galatasaray in 2010 for €5m after scoring 32 goals in 30 league games for Trabzonspor.
