West Ham have joined a number of clubs in the race to sign highly-rated Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes, according to a report in HITC.
The Scottish international forward has scored 20 or more goals in each of his three seasons for Blackburn following his £8m move in 2012 from Huddersfield.
He also scored 87 goals in 148 games for Huddersfield as he set the Football League alight with his clinical finishing.
Everton, Crystal Palace and QPR are all keen on signing the 25-year-old, but it’s Middlesbrough who are leading the race to sign Rhodes this summer.
The striker is valued at £10m by Blackburn, who would be open to a sale should a bid of that size come in. Newcastle and Hull have both also been mentioned as potential suitors.
