Hammers Move For Wilson

West Ham have made signing a striker their biggest priority this summer, with Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson high on their wish-list, claims the Mirror.

The 23-year-old signed for Bournemouth last summer from Coventry for a reported £3m, after netting 21 goals in 37 games in League One last season.

The Englishman has replicated that record this season, with 23 goals and 13 assists in 49 games in all competitions for the Cherries this term.

Wilson has also been linked with a big money move to Chelsea in the summer, who are looking to add to their ‘Home Grown’ quota of players.

West Ham are also said to be closing in on the signing of Andre-Pierre Gignac from Marseille, with Carlton Cole and Modibo Maiga set to leave the club in the summer as a bid to sign Javier Hernandez remains in the works.
