  • West Ham beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0
  • The Hammers are now two points above the bottom three
  • Tottenham Hotspur have dropped into the relegation zone

West Ham United beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 to move out of the Premier League relegation zone on Friday night. Goals from Konstantinos Mavropanos and Valentin Castellanos guided Nuno Espirito Santo’s team to a huge win at the London Stadium.

The Hammers put on one of their best performances of the season to move up, with almost every player having a solid game for the team. West Ham‘s win heaped pressure on Tottenham Hotspur, dropping them into the bottom three with Spurs having been a point above them.

Spurs travelled to Sunderland in their first game under Roberto De Zerbi but for them, it was business as usual. The North London team would lose again as Nordi Mukiele’s goal was enough to guide the Black Cats to three points, keeping Spurs in the bottom three.
