- West Ham travel to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon
- Crysencio Summerville remains out for West Ham
- Pablo Felipe is fully fit after starting the last two games
West Ham United head to Aston Villa tomorrow afternoon looking for the all important points that will get them out of the bottom three. Nuno Espirito Santo’s team have built themselves on a defencive stronghold and will look to keep their form going at Villa Park.
The Hammers know they can book their place out of the relegation zone with a win. 17th placed Nottingham Forest play 16th placed Tottenham Hotspur, meaning all West Ham have to do is find three points and they will go into the international break one place above the drop zone.
Unfortunately for the Irons, they will once again be without star winger Crysencio Summerville. The 24-year-old picked up a calf injury in the FA Cup win over Brentford and missed West Ham’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City last weekend.
Crysencio Summerville’s 2025/26 West Ham United Statistics
| Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| 27 | 7 | 2 |
The Dutchman has been a big part of the Hammers upturn in form, netting seven goals this season, his best tally in a West Ham shirt, helping the club overturn the seven point gap they started 2026 with. There had been hope that Summerville could return for tomorrow’s game with Aston Villa, but the winger’s return has been delayed until after the international break.
Further team news
Pablo Felipe will be hoping to keep his place after starting the last two games. The Brazilian returned to the fold in the team’s FA Cup win and has looked back to his best in the games since.
Young Oliver Scarles is set to miss this game with a muscle injury he suffered in training. The 20-year-old last appeared for West Ham against Brentford but only played 45 minutes in the game. His return may not happen until early April.
Elsewhere Nuno will have a full squad to select from including his full defensive unit. West Ham last played with all three of Axel Disasi, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Jean-Clair Todibo. The Hammers boss could do so again on Sunday afternoon.
