West Ham are reportedly close to signing Villarreal left-back Pervis Estupinan this summer.
The Hammers have been expected to find additional competition and support in the position for Aaron Cresswell having missed out on Junior Firpo earlier in the window.
Linked with Hibernian starlet Josh Doig, Estupinan could be set to arrive at the London Stadium as the Irons beat Serie A giants Napoli to the Ecuador international.
That’s according to Calcio News 24, as cited by Louis (West Ham Central) on Twitter.

Capped on 12 occasions at senior level, the full-back was named in the CONMEBOL team of the tournament for the recent Copa America.
Last season Estupinan made 33 appearances across all competitions – including four Europa League outings on route to lifting the trophy.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
Valued at £13.5million and under contract in Spain until 2027 (Transfermarkt), West Ham would likely have to offer a profit on Villarreal’s £14.76million expenditure last summer.
Predominantly a natural left-back, the Ecuadorian star has also played centre-back and as a more advanced wing-back.
Credited with both attacking and defensive strengths, Estupinan looks to be a natural successor to the evergreen Cresswell in east London.
