West Ham have made an undisclosed offer to Lille for the signing of midfielder Idrissa Gueye, reports RMC.
Crystal Palace have also been linked with a move for the 25-year-old, with the report claiming that the Eagles have also made a similar offer, with both bids understood to be between €8-10m.
It wasn’t too long ago that the Senegalese international was set to join Southampton as a replacement for the outgoing Morgan Schneiderlin, but the Saints have since cooled their interest.
Marseille are also interested in purchasing Gueye from their fellow Ligue 1 club, and have made a €7m offer for the player as well.
However, it’s understood that Gueye, much like former Marseille star Dimitri Payet who’s now turning out in claret and blue, would favour a move to England and the Premier League due to the attractive financial packaged teams are able to put together in comparison to those in French football.
