Barcelona are considering a move for reported West Ham target, Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra, claims Marca.
The La Liga champions are embargoed from signing players until January 1st 2016, but can complete deals in advance, much like they did with another Sevilla player, Aleix Vidal.
The former Levante defensive midfielder has been in impressive form for Sevilla since signing in 2013, making 81 appearances for them, and has been heavily linked with a move to West Ham.
The 27-year-old played a key role in Unai Emery’s UEFA Europa League winning side this past season, partnering Grzegorz Krychowiak in midfield, who has also been tipped to leave the club.
It’s hard to see the player give up an opportunity to play Champions League football to come to West Ham, but you can’t write it off, as it appear that Barcelona midfielder Alex Song is doing exactly that.
The Cameroonian spent last season on loan with the Hammers, and is said to be close to completing his free transfer move from Barca to East London.
