Hammers Line Up Loan Move For Salah

West Ham are considering a loan move for out-of-favour Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah, reports the Mirror.

The Egyptian international has found game time hard to come by at Chelsea since his move from FC Basel last summer, and was eventually shipped out on loan to Serie A side Fiorentina in January as part of a deal with saw his like-for-like replacement, Juan Cuadrado, brought in.

Salah went on to score nine goals in 26 appearances for Fiorentina, who are desperate to bring him back to the club for next season, as he looks set to be shipped out on loan again.

The 23-year-old would be an ideal signing for the Hammers, who lack creativity and a significant goal threat from the wider areas, with only Matt Jarvis and Morgan Amalfitano currently occupying the wings.

However, the impending arrival of Dimitri Payet from Marseille should alleviate some of the pressure and help us significantly in the final third. The 28-year-old scored seven goals and amassed a huge 17 assists last season in Ligue 1.
