West Ham are interested in making a move for Burnley defender Kieran Tripper this summer, claims London 24.
The English right-back has been a stand-out performer for relegated Burnley this season, but could leave them this summer.
The 24-year-old has a £3.5m release clause that was activated once Burnley’s relegation was made official, and will be the set price throughout the summer for interested clubs.
The Hammers see Trippier as a fall-back option to Arsenal loanee Carl Jenkinson, who looked likely to cost the club over double what the former Manchester City youngster would cot to sign from Burnley, but that was before Arsene Wenger revealed he was keen to keep the England international at the Emirates.
Southampton are also very interested in Trippier, should Manchester United go hard in their attempts to bring in Nathaniel Clyne.
