West Ham are considering a summer move for out-of-favour Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
The Mexican is currently on loan at Real Madrid, from United, but has found game time hard to come by at the Bernabeu and is not expected to make his move permanent.
With only 18 months left on his contract, Louis Van Gaal will look to cash in on striker in the summer, and wont be short of potential buyers.
West Ham are said to be monitoring his situation, and are readying an £8m move for Hernandez as they look to make some marquee signings in the next transfer window.
Whether Louis Van Gaal will be willing to do business with Sam Allardyce is another question, following their recent spat after Allardyce made comments about United’s direct style of play, branding them ‘Long Ball United’.
