Wrexham have two injury concerns to assess before travelling to face West Ham United at London Stadium on Friday night.
Max Cleworth was already a doubt for the Championship fixture after being forced off during Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Burnley.
Phil Parkinson has now provided further detail on the defender’s condition and confirmed that Josh Windass also suffered a problem during the game.
Cleworth lasted only half an hour before leaving the pitch with what Wrexham believe is a hamstring issue.
“Max looks like his hamstring’s tightened up,” Parkinson said after the Burnley draw.
The Wrexham manager added that he does not currently believe the injury is particularly serious, although Cleworth will need assessing before Friday.
Josh Windass adds to Wrexham injury concern
Windass also failed to return for the second half against Burnley.
Parkinson confirmed the attacking midfielder had suffered a blow to his calf and Wrexham elected not to take a risk with him.
The manager suggested Windass could potentially have attempted to continue, but Wrexham instead made the substitution at half-time.
Both situations will therefore be worth monitoring before the trip to London Stadium.
Cleworth has been an important part of Parkinson’s defence, while Windass offers another experienced Championship option further forward.
Their availability could influence how Wrexham approach a West Ham side searching for a fourth consecutive league victory.
The visitors nevertheless arrive with momentum.
Wrexham are unbeaten in their last three Championship matches, taking seven points from Millwall, Swansea City and Burnley.
Parkinson has also admitted his team must improve aspects of their defensive structure before facing the Hammers.
West Ham have injury questions of their own, with Taty Castellanos still a doubt ahead of the Wrexham game.
Nuno Espírito Santo’s side head into Friday after a 3-2 victory against Bolton Wanderers extended their winning Championship run to three matches.
It will be the clubs’ first league meeting in 45 years, with ReadWestHam’s West Ham vs Wrexham head-to-head guide covering their previous encounters.
