West Ham crest vote enters final hours as deadline looms

West Ham United supporters have only hours remaining to have their say on the future of the club crest.

The first stage of West Ham’s “Forging Our Future” consultation closes at 11:59pm on Sunday 13 September, bringing almost four weeks of supporter feedback to an end.

The club’s official crest consultation page confirms that the survey will determine whether supporters want the current badge to change and which elements of West Ham’s identity matter most to them.

No new crest has been chosen.

This stage is about deciding whether West Ham should proceed towards potential alternatives at all.

West Ham crest vote closes tonight

The consultation opened on 20 August and is available to eligible supporters aged 16 or over.

That includes current Bondholders, 2026/27 season-ticket holders, Claret & Blue Members and supporters who attended more than five home matches last season.

West Ham say every eligible supporter receives one vote, with duplicate submissions removed.

Read West Ham first highlighted the final-week deadline for the West Ham crest vote seven days ago.

The remaining window is now measured in hours rather than days.

Supporters who are eligible but have not received their email can access further information through the club’s official Forging Our Future consultation.

What happens after the West Ham crest survey?

Tonight’s deadline does not automatically mean West Ham will change their badge.

The first survey asks supporters whether they believe the crest should change and what aspects of the club’s identity are most important.

If supporters back change, West Ham plan to use that feedback to develop possible designs.

Those options would then be put back to supporters during a second stage of the process.

The club intends to select any final design in spring 2027, with a potential new crest not launching until 2028.

That makes the current vote the first major decision point.

Read West Ham previously examined why the crest consultation is also a test of supporter trust, particularly following relegation and major changes behind the scenes.

For supporters who want a say, tonight is the final opportunity in stage one.

The deadline is 11:59pm.
