Manor Solomon has revealed how conversations with Nuno Espírito Santo helped convince him to join West Ham United.
The new No.10 says Nuno and transfer chief Nils Koppen explained the project they are building at the London Stadium, with an immediate return to the Premier League their first objective.
West Ham officially completed Solomon’s move from Tottenham on Monday, handing the 27-year-old a three-year contract with the option of another season.
ReadWestHam reported after his arrival that Solomon will wear the No.10 shirt after becoming Nuno’s latest attacking addition.

Speaking after completing the transfer, Solomon explained that conversations with Nuno and Koppen played an important part in his decision.
“I’ve spoken both with the manager and with Nils,” Solomon said.
“They showed me the project, what they want to build there.”
The Israel international also made clear that promotion is the immediate priority.
“Our first task is to get promoted, to go back to the Premier League,” he added.
Solomon arrives with valuable experience of doing exactly that.
He scored 10 Championship goals during Leeds United’s promotion-winning 2024/25 campaign and now hopes to repeat that achievement in east London.

Solomon’s first comments also suggest he views the move as more than a short-term attempt to return to the top flight.
He said he wants to remain at West Ham for a long time and help take the club back to the level he believes it belongs.
Nuno now has to decide how quickly to introduce his new winger, with West Ham travelling to Burnley on Sunday for their opening Championship fixture.
