West Ham United have officially completed the signing of Manor Solomon from Tottenham Hotspur. The winger has also been handed the No.10 shirt at the London Stadium.
The Hammers confirmed Solomon’s arrival on Monday evening after several days of negotiations with their London rivals.
West Ham announced the deal on their official website. Solomon now joins Nuno Espírito Santo’s squad ahead of the Championship opener against Burnley.
Manor Solomon officially joins West Ham
The announcement comes only hours after the transfer appeared to leak ahead of schedule.
ReadWestHam reported earlier today that Solomon had seemingly been spotted completing media duties at the London Stadium. The image also appeared to show him holding West Ham’s No.10 shirt.
The club have now formally confirmed both his arrival and squad number.
West Ham are reportedly paying Tottenham an initial £5million, with another £2m available in add-ons. Spurs are also expected to retain a sell-on percentage.
Solomon arrives after Crysencio Summerville left the club earlier this summer. His signing gives Nuno another natural option from the left side of the attack.
The 27-year-old already knows the Championship well after his successful season with Leeds United.
Solomon scored 10 goals and registered 12 assists in 39 league appearances during Leeds’ promotion-winning 2024/25 campaign. His performances helped them secure an immediate return to the Premier League.
That experience could be valuable for West Ham this season.
Nuno’s side are expected to challenge for promotion, while the demands of a 46-game Championship campaign will require greater depth across the forward line. Solomon can create chances, carry the ball and provide another goal threat from wide areas.
West Ham are still looking at further additions before the transfer window closes. Another striker remains among their priorities.
For now, though, Nuno has secured another important attacking option.
After several days of negotiations and an apparent leak from his media duties, Solomon is officially a West Ham player and will wear the No.10 shirt.
