Manor Solomon appears to have completed his West Ham media duties at the London Stadium as supporters wait for official confirmation of his move from Tottenham Hotspur.
An image circulating on social media on Monday appears to show the winger posing in West Ham colours, with the No.10 shirt also seemingly selected ahead of his unveiling.
West Ham News & Views shared the image on X, claiming Solomon will wear No.10 this season. West Ham have not yet officially confirmed either the transfer or his squad number, so the image remains unofficial until the club makes an announcement.
Manor Solomon transfer appears close to confirmation
The appearance of Solomon at the London Stadium would represent the clearest indication yet that the remaining formalities surrounding his move have been completed.
West Ham already have an agreement with Tottenham for the 27-year-old, with Fabrizio Romano previously reporting an initial fee of £5million plus £2m in potential add-ons. Solomon was subsequently expected to undergo his medical before signing a three-year contract.
ReadWestHam reported over the weekend that Romano had given the transfer his ‘here we go’, after negotiations between the two London clubs reached a breakthrough.
The latest image suggests supporters may not have much longer to wait.
Solomon would give Nuno Espírito Santo another proven option from wide areas after West Ham lost Crysencio Summerville earlier in the summer. He already knows exactly what is required in the Championship after producing 10 goals and 12 assists during Leeds United’s title-winning 2024/25 campaign.
His arrival may not necessarily complete West Ham’s work in wide areas either.
ReadWestHam reported within the last 24 hours that the Hammers have explored a loan move for Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson, suggesting Nuno could still want greater attacking depth before the window closes.
For Solomon, however, the lengthy transfer process now appears to be approaching its conclusion.
A deal has already been agreed and the winger seemingly completing media work at the London Stadium would ordinarily be one of the final steps before an official club announcement.
The No.10 shirt may also be waiting for him when that confirmation finally arrives.
