‘Here we go’ – Fabrizio Romano confirms new winger for West Ham

West Ham have agreed a deal to sign Manor Solomon from Tottenham, with the winger set to undergo his medical on Sunday.

Fabrizio Romano has given the transfer his trademark “here we go”, with the Hammers agreeing to pay an initial £5million plus a further £2million in add-ons.

Solomon is expected to sign a three-year contract with West Ham, which will also include an option to extend his stay until June 2030.

Manor Solomon to West Ham agreed

Romano confirmed that Tottenham have now approved the deal, bringing an end to negotiations which had appeared in danger of collapsing earlier this week.

West Ham will pay £5million up front, with another £2million available through performance-related add-ons.

The 27-year-old is due to complete his medical on Sunday before putting pen to paper on his contract.

It represents a significant change from earlier in the week, when talks between the two clubs had stalled over the structure of the deal.

ReadWestHam reported earlier on Saturday that West Ham were moving closer to Solomon despite the uncertainty surrounding the transfer.

The agreement now gives Nuno Espírito Santo another option on the left side of his attack following the departure of Crysencio Summerville earlier this summer.

Solomon has previous Championship experience after helping Leeds United win promotion during the 2024/25 season, scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists.

Tottenham signed the Israel international in 2023, but he made only six competitive appearances for the north London club before spending time away on loan. Tottenham’s player profile confirms Solomon joined the club in July 2023, following his previous spell with Fulham.

West Ham will now look to complete the remaining formalities on Sunday before announcing Solomon as the latest addition to Nuno’s squad.
