West Ham given possible timeline for Tottenham winger deal

Manor Solomon’s potential transfer to West Ham may not advance until the closing stages of the window after the winger’s agent outlined plans to secure a permanent Tottenham exit.

West Ham Zone reports that the Hammers have identified Solomon as a possible attacking addition. However, representative Ronen Katsav suggested that his client’s future could remain unresolved until late August.

Manor Solomon West Ham transfer may wait until deadline week

Speaking to Israeli outlet Sport5, Katsav confirmed that Solomon wants regular football away from Tottenham.

“The goal will be to move on a permanent transfer and not on loan,” he said.

“If you look at it statistically, the last week of the window is the busiest.”

The comments indicate that Solomon and his representatives are prepared to assess their options before choosing his next club. West Ham could therefore wait until close to the 1 September deadline before learning whether a deal is achievable.

Solomon has spent the previous two seasons away from Tottenham. He represented Leeds United before joining Villarreal and Fiorentina during the 2025/26 campaign.

The winger produced 10 goals and 12 assists during Leeds’ Championship-winning season. His previous success in the division could appeal to Nuno Espírito Santo as West Ham build a squad capable of challenging for promotion.

However, the Hammers may not be prepared to leave such an important position unresolved for another month. Crysencio Summerville’s departure has removed West Ham’s main natural option from the left.

ReadWestHam reported that the club have spoken to Simon Adingra’s representatives, with Sunderland valuing the Ivory Coast international at around £30million.

Adingra and Solomon provide different financial options. Tottenham want to sell Solomon permanently, but his price could fall if he remains available near the deadline.

West Ham’s reported interest has not yet developed into an offer or advanced negotiations. The agent’s comments provide a possible timeline rather than confirmation that Solomon will move to the London Stadium.
