West Ham have confirmed Crysencio Summerville has completed a permanent transfer to Al Hilal.
The move ends the winger’s two-year spell in east London after 56 appearances and eight goals in all competitions.
West Ham announced the departure on Friday but did not disclose the transfer fee. Summerville joined from Leeds United in August 2024 and became a Netherlands international during his time at the London Stadium.

The 24-year-old was one of West Ham’s most valuable players following relegation to the Championship. His performances for the Netherlands at the World Cup also strengthened his position in the summer market.
ReadWestHam reported earlier on Friday that Summerville had signed a four-year Al Hilal contract after completing his medical. The deal was reported to be worth around £60million, although neither club disclosed the final financial package.
Roma had pursued Summerville and submitted several offers before Al Hilal entered negotiations. Manchester United and Aston Villa were also linked with the former Leeds winger during the window.
His departure creates a clear gap on the left of Nuno Espirito Santo’s attack. Summerville offered pace, close control and the ability to carry possession through crowded areas. West Ham will need to replace those qualities before the Championship season begins.
The sale follows Mateus Fernandes’ move to Tottenham and gives the club further funds to reshape the squad. However, losing two important players places greater pressure on the recruitment team to complete suitable replacements quickly.
The Crysencio Summerville transfer provides West Ham with a substantial return on their original investment. Nuno must now ensure the money strengthens a squad expected to challenge for immediate promotion.
