West Ham United could make a move for Auxerre midfielder Kevin Danois as Nuno Espírito Santo continues rebuilding his squad. The France Under-21 international is reportedly valued at €25million, with the Hammers capable of matching that figure to pursue an agreement.

West Ham have the funds to compete after completing several major sales. However, paying €25million for a player to join a Championship club would represent a major commitment.
No formal bid has been reported. Danois is nevertheless emerging as a serious name to follow while Nuno searches for another central midfielder.
