West Ham United have agreed to sell Crysencio Summerville to Al Hilal for £55million plus £10million in add-ons. The winger has approved the move and can now undergo his medical with the Saudi Pro League club.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the clubs have reached a verbal agreement following a dramatic 48 hours. Roma continued pushing for Summerville until the closing stages, but the 24-year-old ultimately chose Al Hilal.
Romano had previously confirmed that West Ham had agreed the financial terms, with Al Hilal waiting for Summerville’s final decision. That approval has now arrived, leaving the medical as the next step.
The package could eventually earn West Ham £65million. It represents a significant return on a player signed from Leeds United for more than £25million in 2024.

The Crysencio Summerville sale gives West Ham further money to rebuild following relegation. However, Nuno Espírito Santo is losing one of the few players in his squad capable of consistently carrying the ball and beating defenders.
Summerville scored five Premier League goals last season before enhancing his reputation with the Netherlands at the World Cup. His departure creates another vacancy on the left side of West Ham’s attack.
The club must now ensure that the fee strengthens the promotion campaign rather than simply balancing the accounts. A direct winger and a creative midfielder should remain among the main priorities before the window closes.
West Ham have secured an excellent financial deal. The success of the Crysencio Summerville sale will ultimately depend on how effectively the club reinvests the money.
