West Ham United have received a third official bid from Roma for Crysencio Summerville, with the latest proposal worth €47million (£40million) plus add-ons.
The Serie A club submitted its improved offer on Monday as it stepped up negotiations for the Dutch winger.
Fabrizio Romano reports that West Ham received the official proposal after rejecting Roma’s second bid, which was worth more than €45million.
Roma have now made three formal attempts to sign Summerville. Their latest move places further pressure on West Ham to decide whether the financial package is strong enough to sanction his departure.
ReadWestHam previously reported that the Hammers had received an improved €46million proposal from the Italian side.

The size of Roma’s latest bid represents a significant offer for a player West Ham signed from Leeds United in 2024.
However, selling Summerville would remove one of Nuno Espírito Santo’s leading attacking options before the Championship campaign begins.
West Ham must balance the winger’s importance against the opportunity to raise around £40million before add-ons. The money could support Nuno’s squad rebuild and help the club strengthen several positions.
Roma’s continued pursuit also suggests they believe an agreement remains possible. The Italian club have raised their offer following two rejected proposals rather than moving to another target.
Summerville’s future should now become clearer once West Ham respond to the third bid.
The Hammers remain under no immediate obligation to accept the proposal. However, Roma have moved closer to a figure which could force the club to make a major decision over the winger.
