West Ham United have confirmed that more than 45,000 supporters have renewed season tickets for the 2026/27 campaign.
The club announced the figure on its official X account after the renewal window closed, with supporters on the waiting list now set for the next buying phase.
West Ham had already reached 42,000 renewals earlier in the process, a figure ReadWestHam covered last week as part of the pressure around Nuno Espirito Santo’s Championship promotion push.
The latest total gives Nuno a substantial London Stadium platform before the new season.
West Ham’s 2026/27 Season Ticket Hub directs fans towards the Season Ticket Waiting List, with supporters able to join for £10 to gain priority access for available seats.
The backing gives the club a strong commercial and emotional base after relegation. It also raises expectations.
Nuno needs a squad capable of controlling Championship games from August, not one still waiting for the rebuild to settle. A crowd of more than 45,000 season-ticket holders gives West Ham scale few second-tier clubs can match.
The football operation now has to make proper use of it.
A full London Stadium will help if West Ham start well, recruit smartly and give supporters a team with clear direction. Poor early performances would quickly turn the same crowd into a weekly measure of frustration.
For now, the message from supporters looks clear. Relegation has not broken the match-going base.
West Ham have the backing. Nuno and the recruitment team need to give it momentum.
