West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen is not expected to be named in Thomas Tuchel’s 26-man England squad tomorrow.

TalkSPORT’s Alex Crook has reported that the 29-year-old will not receive the call tomorrow and will not be on the plane to the USA this summer.

Bowen has not had his best year in a West Ham shirt this season, and yet has the second most goal involvements of any Englishman in the Premier League, second only to Morgan Gibbs-White, who is reported to have also missed out on the England World Cup squad.

The Hammers captain will now have to swallow his disappointment and focus on helping West Ham beat Leeds United on Sunday, in their final Premier League game of the season. The Irons have to beat Leeds, and hope Tottenham Hotspur lose, to have any chance of staying in the top flight.
