- West Ham are still within a chance of staying in the Premier League on the final day of the season
- The Hammers will need to raise around £100 million if they are relegated
- Captain Jarrod Bowen is among a number of players that could leave
West Ham United will have one final shot at staying in the Premier League this Sunday. The Hammers were handed a lifeline as Chelsea beat Tottenham Hotspur last night, but they now need to beat Leeds United in their final game and hope Spurs lose to David Moyes’s Everton.
With the cloud of relegation still very much looming, the club know a mass exodus will be on their hands if they fall into the Championship. West Ham need to raise funds regardless of division, but relegation would see that number sit at around £100 million.
The easiest way to get to that number is player sales and the Hammers have a number of players in the shop window. Mateus Fernandes will leave regardless of West Ham’s division next season but others expected to move on include Crysencio Summerville, Konstantinos Mavropanos and even club captain Jarrod Bowen.
Three frontrunners for West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen named
There has been speculation over Bowen’s future at West Ham for years, but with relegation looming, the 29-year-old could be about to leave the club he loves afterall.
The Hammers captain has been at the club since the beginning of 2020 and still has hope of keeping them in the Premier League. Bowen also hopes to make Thomas Tuchel’s England World Cup squad this week and it is this international dream that could sway the attacker to leave the London Stadium.

According to The Guardian, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are at the front of the queue for Bowen, whilst Everton and Newcastle United are waiting in the wings.
The Hammers captain is not set on leaving the club, and could still remain, but his international dream alongside things like Champions League football could sway his mind.
