West Ham have been heavily linked with a move for Liverpool striker Divock Origi in recent weeks and may now know the fee required.
The Hammers are expected to strengthen their strikeforce in January in order to supplement talismanic forward Michail Antonio.
Despite remaining on the periphery of matters on Merseyside, Origi continues to produce in the big moments when called upon.
Recently a report from the Express claimed that the Irons were weighing up a bid when the mid-season window opens.

According to a report from The Times, Liverpool will demand £25million for the 26-year-old.
So far this season the 31-cap Belgian ace has scored five times and provided two assists in 10 appearances.
David Moyes could perform a double swoop from the Reds as the Scot also considers a move for central defender Nat Phillips.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
Valued at £10.8million (Transfermarkt), paying the mooted £25million asking price would be somewhat over the odds for the frontman.
As a player, Origi ticks plenty of likeable boxes for Moyes’ side. Powerful, athletic and having scored on the biggest of stages, there is certainly plenty to entice the Irons to the proposed move.
However, at the mooted price a January transfer seems unlikely and the move for a £15million rated Phillips seems a far more realistic prospect.
