West Ham will begin the 2021/22 Premier League campaign with a trip to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United.

The Hammers start their season on August 14 before consecutive home games against Leicester City and Crystal Palace.

David Moyes‘ side will be hoping to replicate the success of the 2020/21 season and perhaps even go one better as fans return to stadiums around the league.

Clashes with newly-promoted Brentford come in October and April, whilst the Irons welcome arch-rivals Tottenham to the London Stadium on October 23.

Unsurprisingly the fixtures come with a major caveat towards alterations due to Europa League participation – with a large chunk of matches likely to be moved to Sunday kick-offs.

Moyes will be relatively pleased with the opening matches, confident of getting off to another positive start.

The opening day clash also provides the Hammers with an opportunity to seek revenge on Steve Bruce’s Newcastle side, having suffered a double defeat to the Geordies last term.
