Reliable insiders Claret & Hugh have recently claimed West Ham full-back Ryan Fredericks will be sold in January if the right offer comes along and the Hammers faithful have reacted in numbers.
Fredericks has barely been seen this season owing to injury and the form of summer arrival Vladimir Coufal.
The 28-year-old has flattered to deceive since arriving at the London Stadium on a free transfer after his time at Fulham came to an end in the summer of 2018.
A lack of game time for Fredericks and with youngster Ben Johnson coming through the ranks the possibility of a January departure seems highly feasible and like a move that wouldn’t upset too many Irons.
However, the bleak indictment of his future in east London stirred up plenty of West Ham fans, perhaps more than anyone could have foreseen.
Here’s a pick of the reactions from the Irons faithful, with one saying it would be “daft” to offload the ex-Fulham defender…
