David Moyes could be sweating on the fitness of Michail Antonio when West Ham visit Sheffield United this afternoon on their return to Premier League action.
The 30-year-old is on the brink of returning from a hamstring injury which saw him miss two matches before the break but faces a late test before a decision is made on whether he will feature at Bramall Lane.
Moyes’ men will be hopeful of moving up the table in the coming weeks after safely navigating a tough run of fixtures in the early stages of the campaign, starting with a win in Yorkshire today.
Chris Wilder’s Blades have struggled to reach the same heights as last season so far and the Irons can be confident of bringing all three points back to east London.
West Ham are likely to be without Andriy Yarmolenko, who tested positive for COVID-19 whilst away with Ukraine, while Fabien Balbuena may be rested after arriving back from South America this week.
Angelo Ogbonna and Mark Noble are back in training and should be available to the manager, while Said Benrahma could be in line for his first Irons start this afternoon.
