West Ham’s Belotti interest described as ‘concrete’

West Ham’s interest in Italian striker Andrea Belotti has been described as ‘concrete’.

According to Tuttosport, as cited on Sport Witness, the Hammers are keen to sign the player this month, as they continue to plan for the possible departure of Marko Arnautovic.

West Ham have been heavily linked with a move to sign Belotti in recent days, but claims that the Hammers could bring him to the Premier League had been laughed off.

Belotti was linked with big-money moves to the likes of Chelsea and Milan not too long ago, raising questions over West Ham’s chances of securing a deal.

After a stunning 2016-17 season, where Belotti scored 28 goals in all competitions, he has been unable to hit that level of form on a consistent basis.

Arnautovic continues to be linked with a transfer to China and his apparent want to complete a move away from the London Stadium has left West Ham scrambling to find a replacement.
