West Ham have offer for Belotti rejected

West Ham have reportedly had a €40million bid for Torino forward Andrea Belotti rejected, according to Football Italia.

The Hammers had been interested in signing Genoa striker Krzysztof Piątek and had reportedly agreed to meet the 23-year old’s price tag, however the Poland international appears destined to sign for AC Milan, with Gonzalo Higuain set to move to Chelsea.

Marko Arnautović’s future at the London Stadium is unclear, with Guangzhou Evergrande currently in open talks with West Ham, and the club would need to find a replacement.

Football Italia claim that Italy international Belotti has been identified as a key target, however the Hammers haven’t yet come to an agreement.

Belotti’s release clause at the Turin club is €100million and Torino won’t accept anything less, with the Maroons insisting he is not for sale.
