West Ham’s pursuit of striker Michy Batshuayi has been well documented. In fact, just last week it was reported that Slaven Bilic was going to attend a meeting with the striker in his native Belgium but the terror attacks that hit Brussels meant their proposed get-together had to be cancelled.
As co-Chairman David Sullivan recently announced, West Ham’s main aim this summer is to bring in a striker to add to their already-impressive squad and it looks like Batshuayi is one of the options that the Hammers have their eye on as they prepare for their first season at the Olympic Stadium.

However, if they do wish to sign him, they’ll need to fend off interest from fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and also from Serie A side Juventus, according to a report in the Express.
While Batshuayi seems to be West Ham’s number one target, he’s reportedly not viewed in the same light by Spurs and Juve.
Spurs are looking at a number of options whilst Juventus are apparently keen on signing Edinson Cavani and view Batshuayi more as a plan B.
