West Ham are leading the race to sign Yohan Cabaye from PSG this summer after it was revealed the Frenchman would prefer a move to Upton Park according to Le Parisien.
The former Newcastle man has found first-team opportunities hard to come by with the Ligue 1 champions, with just 35 appearances in 18 months with the club have left the Frenchman with little option but to seek a move away.
Crystal Palace, managed by Cabaye’s former boss Alan Pardew who brought him to the Premier League, have submitted an offer worth £9.9m to PSG, but it’s understood that the 29-year-old is keen on a move to West Ham instead of Crystal Palace.
Eager to ‘aim high’ and join a budding project, Cabaye’s intentions is great news for West Ham, as he’s willing to sign a contract with the club, it’s now about whether the Hammers are willing to meet the asking price which is roughly £10m.
