West Ham have taken highly-rated AFC Wimbledon starlet Daniel Agyei on trial this pre-season, reports Sky Sports.
The 17-year-old striker has yet to break into the League two side’s full team, but has been heavily impressive for their youth teams, scoring 31 goals for the U18 team, and two in five for the U21 having been promoted to the next level.
The Daily Mail first reported of our interest back in February, and Chelsea as well a Fulham were also interested in signing the teenager, and all three clubs continued to monitor his progress the rest of the season.
The Hammers are also in discussions to sign four strikers from four different clubs, and hope to get at least one of these deals over the line this summer.
Loic Remy and Charlie Austin remain our top targets, but Fabio Borini and Javier Hernandez are also being mentioned as possible loan options for Slaven Bilic.
