West Ham are considering a move for Genoa winger Diego Perotti, according to a report in HITC.
Slaven Bilic is reportedly a huge fan of the Argentine, and is eager to make several signings in the next few weeks ahead of their Europa League first-qualifying round game on July 2nd.
The 26-year-old signed for the Serie A side last summer after five years in Spain with Sevilla, but only made 58 appearances from 2011-14 due to injuries.
After signing a four-year deal with Genoa, Perotti scored four goals and recorded five assists in 27 games in Serie A last season, recapturing the form he showed early in his Sevilla days.
It’s claimed that the club value him at around £5m, but would be reluctant to sell this summer after a strong first season.
West Ham may be forced to strengthen their interest in Perotti if they can’t agree a deal with Marseille’s Dimitri Payet. After agreeing a £6m fee with the club, Payet has rejected a five-year, £60,000-a-week deal, as he is looking for a little more money.
