West Ham are considering an ambitious summer swoop for AS Roma striker Mattia Destro, according to a report in HITC.
The Hammers join Crystal Palace, Fiorentina and Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg in the race to sign the Italian international striker.
Destro was linked with a £20m move last summer to the Premier League with both Chelsea and Arsenal reportedly keen on signing him.

Roma are reportedly willing to let the 24-year-old spend next season out on loan, despite scoring 29 goals in 69 games for the club.
He spent part of last season on loan at fellow Serie A side AC Milan, but only managed to tally three goals in 15 appearances, 11 of which were starts.
With Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho injury risks, Enner Valencia at the Copa America and Carlton Cole released, West Ham’s only striking options going into their Europa League qualifying campaign are the returning Modibo Maiga and Mauro Zarate.
