Lazio have placed central midfielder Ogenyi Onazi back on the transfer market, with both Liverpool and West Ham considering bids for him, according to the Express.
Onazi was linked with Liverpool during the winter transfer window in a swap deal for striker Fabio Borini, but a deal never materialised as Lazio were determined to keep the Nigerian and push for Champions League qualification in Serie A.
But now, Lazio have had a change of heart, and are willing to part ways with the promising 22-year-old midfielder, says Gazzetta dello Sport.
West Ham are keen to add some depth to their midfielder for next season, and Onazi would be available for around £7.1m having struggled to nail down a place in the first team since the turn of the year.
With Alex Song set to leave the club in the summer, the combative Nigerian would be an ideal replace for Song in the defensive midfield area.
